Sa'Kina Ballenger, Co-Pastor

Co-Pastor Sa’Kina E. Ballenger is a native of New Bern, North Carolina, and began her relationship with Christ at the tender age of eleven.  She began her gospel ministry at Shiloh Apostolic Holiness Church in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

 
In 1997, Co-Pastor Ballenger met her husband and joined him in holy matrimony on May 19, 1998.  By way of the military, they traveled together across the world and continued ministry together wherever God planted them.

 

In 2008, Co-Pastor Ballenger assisted as the First Lady while her husband pastored in Okinawa, Japan.  Upon their return to the United States, Co-Pastor Ballenger and her family assisted Family Worship Center of Yemassee, South Carolina until they birthed Agape Empowerment Ministries, Inc. in 2019.  Co-Pastor Ballenger and her family now lives in her husband’s hometown of Duncan, South Carolina; and co-pastors with him in Chesnee, South Carolina.

 

Co-Pastor Ballenger has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University, a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a Doctorate in Theology from Grace Bible College and Seminary. 

 

Co-Pastor Ballenger is a beloved wife, mother, leader, mentor, educator, and friend. She is currently a high school Business Education Teacher in Greenville County Schools, South Carolina.    


She and Pastor Jermaine Ballenger Sr. have two beautiful children: Jasiah (J-asia), and Jermaine Jr.
